To Erode

This installation imagines the aftermath of a nuclear weapons attack, as radioactive black rain pours down onto the destroyed ground while a flag flaps in the wind. Using a 2-channel sound component with one loudspeaker on the ground and another lofted up high like the flag on its pole, as well as a c-print that evokes the polluted black rain and its visceral affect on any living thing, the work was exhibited as part of the 2019 Sondheim Artscape Semifinalist Exhibition in Baltimore, Maryland.
